BusyLS is a comprehensive accounting software package. The included number of tools and features makes it a great tool for any company. There are three editions: Basic, Standard, and Premium for small businesses, traders and retailers, and Mfg. & Excise units. The features of the program can be evaluated in sections: Administration, Transactions, Display, Printing, and House Keeping. Administration, as the name denotes, gives us various settings, such as add or edit users for a company (or the database), data freezing, etc. In voucher configuration, there are predefined voucher series like Sales, Purchases records, Journal, Contra, etc. We can add custom series too. Transactions menu is for sales, purchase records, payment receipts, etc., and has only three options: add, edit, and modify. The VAT Journal is an important feature. The Display menu is for the various report preparations, and House-keeping is for the database file maintenance. The submenus with all the items were specially made for big companies help in easy management of all transactions. Help is available for each and every option in CHM format. A "knowledge documents" section has been included as a separate help file, giving much information about the sales tax, VAT, excise duty, etc. Most of the information is suited for Indian and South Asian countries. The program is fairly fast and doesn't use up more memory so it can be installed in older systems as well. Not incompatibilities are found with Windows versions including 64-bit Windows 7. The software installation is completely portable, and the database files are available in its folder. Thus, we can easily backup everything. If you are a company based in India or in and South Asian countries, you must have a try.
Thanks for the link, I have download from broadband connection as the file size is about 55 mb. The software installation is very simple & the menu is user freindly. I will use for my personal accounts as well for my computer sales business account.. I have set up my computer's & parts inventory and the invoice printing is very nice without third parties help. The one features mentioned in your post about seeing other report while creating\editing voucher\master, was not found in tally or other software. I hope there are many other undocumented features in busywin that will be published by people like you...Thanks once again, kaushik.Manish Pandya

Accounting software is a computer program that maintains account books on computers, including recording transactions and account balances. It may depends on virtual thinking. Depending on the purpose, the software can manage budgets, perform accounting tasks for multiple currencies, perform payroll and customer relationship management, and prepare financial reporting.[citation needed] The first accounting software was introduced in 1978.[citation needed] Since then, the accounting software has revolutionized from supporting basic accounting operations to performing real-time accounting and supporting financial processing and reporting.[1] Cloud accounting software was first introduced in 2011, and it allowed to perform all accounting functions through the internet.
Personal accounting software is simple in design and is used mostly for individuals. Some activities that it supports are accounts payable-type accounting transactions, managing budgets, and simple account reconciliation. It is relatively inexpensive compared to the other accounting options. One of the more common uses of personal accounting software is for tax preparation. This software is used to file tax returns in a format suitable with the Internal Revenue Service. An example of such software would be TurboTax.[3]
At the low-end of the business markets, inexpensive applications software allows most general business accounting functions to be performed. Suppliers frequently serve a single national market, while larger suppliers offer separate solutions in each national market.
In addition to general accounting functions, the software may include integrated or add-on management information systems, and may be oriented towards one or more markets, for example with integrated or add-on project accounting modules.
With the advent of faster computers and internet connections, accounting software companies have been able to create accounting software which is paid for on a monthly recurring charge instead of a larger upfront license fee (software as a service - SaaS). The rate of adoption of this new business model has increased steadily to the point where legacy players have been forced to come out with their own online versions.
Cloud Accounting Software is where financial information can be accessed from any device connected to the Internet at any time even though the financial data itself is located at a centralized computer. This differs from more traditional accounting software as it is restricted to a certain computer or system of computers and that accounting information can not be easily accessed from other devices. Some reasons cloud accounting software is preferred by users is there is no need to worry about maintenance or hardware system upgrades, it can reduce overall costs, and that a user can gain access from multiple locations. One of the primary reasons cloud accounting software is not being used is the threat of the security of the data.[4] Some of the more common examples of Cloud Accounting Software include Cloud Elements, IBM App Connect, IFTTT, and Zapier.[5]
Check printing software allows individuals and companies to create, print, and mail physical checks or send digital checks without requiring a traditional checkbook or pre-printed checks from the bank. This is how many employers are able to pay their team members via direct deposit. To make an online check payment, you'll need your routing number, checking account number, and the name associated with your account.","@type": "Question","name": "Can I Print Checks on Regular Paper?","acceptedAnswer": "@type": "Answer","text": "Printing your own checks typically requires check stock paper (available at office supply stores or online) that is generally used with most printers and check printing software.
