2MB flashThe micro version of DD-WRT is the only version for Broadcom routers with 2MB flash. It is stripped-down with only basic features to fit in the limited flash space, and additional software packages are unlikely to fit. Despite these limitations, for existing owners, DD-WRT micro is likely to add additional functionality over OEM firmware. When looking to purchase a new router, users are strongly recommended to avoid 2MB devices.

Once you have downloaded your new driver, you'll need to install it. In Windows, use a built-in utility called Device Manager, which allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

The Encore ENHWI-N3 router has 300mbps WiFi, 4 100mbps ETH-ports and 0 USB-ports. It also supports custom firmwares like: dd-wrtQuick links:Default password/LoginLogin instructionsUser ManualsFlashing Custom Firmwares

Staying up to date with the latest firmware is a good idea to keep your router even moresecurefrom various security flaws. If you want to squeeze a little bit of extra functionality out of your router, considerflashingan open-source firmware like dd-wrt, openWRT or LEDE. Flashing a custom ROM can greatlyincreasethe stability and functionality of your old router.Following are the firmwares that we have identified existing for the Encore ENHWI-N3:
